Breast fat grafting to augment or enhance breast shape and symmetry, has recently gained popularity in the media, but has been used in our practice for over ten years.
Breast Fat grafting is frequently performed to assist with breast shaping or symmetrisation at the time of breasts lifts, reductions or augmentations. Fat is removed by ‘micro-liposuction’ (from areas of fat excess), processed and re-injected into the breast.
Fat grafting sessions can be performed every 4- 6 months. These sessions can also be spaced out over years.
